We recommend wearing tight, form-fitting clothing to your body scan appointment. The scanner can’t distinguish between clothing and skin, so for the best results we usually find that tight undergarments such as biking shorts, sports bras, boxer briefs, and similar clothing works best.
It’s also important to wear the same clothing to each of your appointments so that the machine will gather consistent results across your appointments.
If you’re working with us on a fitness or weight loss program, you are probably gaining muscle even as you lose fat. Muscle is denser than fat, so you may appear to be about the same size even if you’ve replaced fat with muscle. This is one reason why 3D body scanning is so important, because we’ll be able to tell that even though your weight may be the same, you’re actually much healthier than you had been before!
